BIRCHBOX: July

I received a bunch of great products this month! The first item, Roller Lash Super-Curling & Lifting Mascara ($24), is definitely a cosmetic item I would purchase. Coming from someone who doesn't regularly wear mascara, the wand does a great job separating the lashes and leaves barely any clumps. Next item is Blush Duo - Papaya Don't Preach ($10). Not one of the better blushes I've tried. The cream & powder combination is a clever idea, but the colors do not complement my skin tone well. The third item I tried was the 3-in-1 Micellar Gel Eye Makeup Remover ($16). Seemed to take off the mascara pretty well; didn't irritate my eyes or cause any redness so I'd give this product a thumbs up for getting the job done. Another item I tested was the Complexion Boosting Moisturizer ($21) and I'm in LOVE with this product. Instead of my skin feel oily and absolutely disgusting at the end of the day, my face felt nothing but soft. The formula is rich in antioxidants helping to rejuvenate dehydrated skin. A big five stars for this moisturizer. The final product in my July box was the Aprés Beach Wave and Shine Spray ($42). Sadly, I cannot give an honest review of this texture spray because these type of products do not work with my hair. However, the website had plenty of positive feedback and it seems to be a big seller.
